After mentioning the three categories of computer batteries 312-0429 that are used

After mentioning the three categories of batteries used computers, I thought you all may know the different names of some of them could be using for your PC. Interested? So come with me! Today I will talk about the Li-Ion, NiCad, Lithium Polymer, NiMH and SLA battery types.

First, the lithium ion is lithium ion. This type of battery is used mainly when very high energy density is needed. Require a protective circuit to go along with them and are quite expensive. Here is short NICAD Nickel Cadmium. NICAD batteries are best known in the computer world. They are used when long life and high discharge rate required. They come at a reasonable price too.

After the NIMH battery 312-0429, which is synonymous with nickel-metal hydride. These come with some improvements over the NICAD battery, such as reduced life cycle and reduced current load. The following is the SLA battery. This means sealed lead acid. These are used when greater power is needed. They are also heavy in weight. Last is the Li-polymer, which is short for Lithium Polymer. This is a lower cost version of the lithium ion battery, but have not yet been released to the public due to the development phase.

So there you have it. Now you can go and find out what type of battery you use your computer!
